Guest Ratings & Reviews
Our stay at the hotel was just what we needed for a break with our two young grandchildren. The room we stayed in was very comfortable and had all the facilities required for our 3-night stay, despite feeling a bit dated. The staff were finding their feet but extremely helpful, especially providing information about nearby attractions and restaurants. The location was perfect, close to everything yet amazingly quiet, catering well to a family of four.
My stay at the hotel was pleasant overall. The rooms were quiet, clean, and tidy, although a bit outdated and in need of modernization. The service was excellent, with friendly and helpful staff. The location was perfect, close to the beach, restaurants, and public transportation.
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms were exceptionally clean and tidy, although they faced the carpark, which lacked privacy due to the absence of blinds. On the bright side, I enjoyed the wide selection of Sky channels. The service was top-notch, with the staff going out of their way to provide helpful information about nearby attractions and restaurants. The location was perfect for beach lovers, being super close to the beach and within easy reach of Nelson, the airport, and the Abel Tasman region.
When I arrived at the hotel, I immediately noticed a musty smell in the room, which made me question the cleanliness. The view from the room was disappointing, facing the carpark without any privacy features like net curtains or blinds. On the upside, the hotel seemed well-located for travelers wanting easy access to both the northern and southern regions. However, it was clear that some renovation work was needed to bring the rooms up to modern standards.
My stay at the hotel was quite pleasant overall. The rooms were spacious, clean, cozy, and comfortable with a great little kitchenette, though they are in the process of being done up. The location was fantastic, being close to the beach and various food outlets. However, the room was very dated and had some maintenance issues like a broken light switch and musty smell. The outdoor furniture was also in poor condition.
